To me (maybe, being a dutchman), the word was new, so here goes (From Merriam-Webster):pro·cras·ti·nate Function: verb Etymology: Latin procrastinatus, past participle of procrastinare, from pro- forward + crastinus of tomorrow, from cras tomorrow transitive senses : to put off intentionally and habitually intransitive senses : to put off intentionally the doing of something that should be done Nederlands: teuten, dralen, hannesen, talmen, treuzelen Being PhD students, my colleagues and I of course have to procrastinate on a regular basis. Just to prevent getting overworked, quitting PhD and ending up in the gutter. It's just a precautionary measure. Below are some of our favourite ways of procrastinating.
