This topic is inspired by the various occurrences of the phenomenon of `procrastination' in the regular comics on

To me (maybe, being a dutchman), the word was new, so here goes (From
Merriam-Webster):

Function: verb
Etymology: Latin
procrastinatus, past participle of
procrastinare, from
pro- forward +
crastinus of tomorrow, from
cras tomorrow
transitive senses : to put off intentionally and habitually
intransitive senses : to put off intentionally the doing of something that should be done
Nederlands: teuten, dralen, hannesen, talmen, treuzelen

PhD students, my colleagues and I of course have to procrastinate on a regular basis. Just to prevent getting overworked, quitting
PhD and ending up in the gutter. It's just a precautionary measure. Below are some of our favourite ways of procrastinating.
